Futurology

Life has three sectors with respect to time – past, present and future. The present creates an image of the future based on the past. If there is no intervention of some force, the future is a perfect reflection of the past. It is because a person’s future life is the reflection of their deeds in the past. Human life is never without a force in the present, affecting the future from just being a reflection of the past. This force in the present is that of dreams visualized about the future, and these dreams are made up of wisdom of the person.

Every person visualizes some dreams in the present for their future, thus partially unlinking future results of their past deeds and uplinking their dreams to the future. Here, dreams of the past become immaterial for their merger into deeds, and there is no possibility of dreams in the future, hence only dreams in the present have value and power to have impact on the future.

Dreams are of two types – imaginations during wake-up time called day-dreams, and dreams evolving from mind during a sound sleep. Day dreams are under some control of the person, but the night-dreams are beyond control. Hence, day-dreams may be said to be manipulations of selfish mind which may not be true always, hence their power is under suspicion. Night-dreams are the real dreams without any vested interest of the mind. These are creations of some forces not yet known to humanity, hence may be assumed to be of Divine origin.
